We are enrolling 1,100 children between 18 and 48 months of age in the Children’s Autism Metabolome Project (CAMP).
The study will include children with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental delays, as well as typically developing children. The design of the study will enable us to confirm previously discovered biomarkers, expand the biomarker profiles for metabolic subtypes, and optimize the test accuracy by creating panels of biomarker subtypes that will better diagnose this heterogeneous syndrome.
