FACTORS
The patient must fast for at least 12 hours prior to blood draw.
Fill a sodium heparin Vacutainer® tube at least 2/3 full.
Centrifuge the blood sample, then transfer plasma layer into a cryovial.
Place into storage in a freezer at -80°C or on dry ice within one hour of the blood draw.
Include the completed NeuroPointDX ASD Test Requisition Form with the shipment.
The sample must be shipped overnight to NeuroPointDX on dry ice.
